Since most of the events and gatherings were canceled in 2020, I've decided to post behind the scenes from several big projects last year that i had a pleasure to style and produce.
One of them was styling and production of Swim Week Fashion Show for Saks Fifth Avenue for the official Swim Week 2019 closing party, TBT to that awesome day!
Working as an independent stylist is always great to be approached and hired by the big brands like Saks.
I was asked to prepare 25 looks in total. Usually fittings are taking place a day or 2 before the actual show, however in this case the actual fitting was scheduled a few hours before the show. So I've prepared extra look to play with. It's better be safe then sorry!
Saks Fifth Avenue Brickell City Centre and its partner Art Heart Fashion International, has provided amazing models that rocked the show!
Since it was a full production done by me, my team and talented folks from Saks, I've created a moodboard for the make up and hair and upon it's approval by Adrienne and Saks Fifth Avenue team, I've met with beauty manager Rafael and the rest of the team to explain how I see it.
Since Miami is hot and sexy, we've chosen a wet look and slick pulled back hair with a glow skin and wet eye make up.

In the show I've included brands like PatBo, Vilebrequin, Kenzo, Onia, Versace and Paper London to create the colorful and spicy Miami fashion cocktail =)
Here are some last minute prep photos before the runaway show. When everybody lined up, I always go through every single model and make sure that every detail of their look is perfect. I also love to put them int he mood but given a few words, how great they look, how I want them to be a queen or a king and to be the star of the show! The mood is everything, so mu models are always rocking it!
